ApniDukaan is built as an offline-first retail app. Your shop data is primarily stored locally on your Android device (for example in an on-device database). There is no central cloud account database required for normal billing operations.

1. Data stored on your device
Typical categories retained on-device until you delete them (or until app data is cleared) include:
- shop/owner profile fields you entered
- product catalog and inventory-related records
- sales/billing records and customer balances (udhar)
- generated files such as PDFs or exports, where you chose to save them
- local backup files you exported (these are files you control)
2. Automatic retention & housekeeping
To help manage storage on low-end phones, the App may apply local housekeeping rules. For example, some versions may automatically remove older transaction detail beyond a defined window (such as older sale records), while keeping summaries needed for reporting — subject to the exact behaviour in your installed app version.
If your installed version includes configurable retention settings, those in‑app settings control the behaviour on your device.
3. Backups you create
If you use backup/export features, the backup file is written to a location you choose (for example your device storage or a cloud folder via the system share/save sheet). Those files are outside the App’s sandbox and remain until you delete them.
Treat backup files like sensitive financial records: anyone with access to the file may be able to read the contents.
4. How to delete data
On-device app data (most common)
- Android Settings → Apps → ApniDukaan → Storage → Clear data (wording may vary by manufacturer). This typically removes local app storage for ApniDukaan.
- Uninstall the App — usually removes application data from the device, subject to your manufacturer’s Android implementation.
In‑app tools (if available in your version): Settings may offer options to reset registration, delete records, or export/remove data — follow on‑screen instructions.
Clearing data or uninstalling does not erase copies you saved elsewhere (for example a backup file you emailed to yourself).
5. Data we receive when you contact support
If you email contact@erevolutionsindia.com, we retain your message and our replies only as long as needed to help you and for legitimate business purposes (such as fraud prevention or legal compliance), then we delete or archive it according to our internal procedures.
